Ahmet Savaşan, together with Zerrin Üstel, wife of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, attended the event organized by UBP Nicosia District and Women's Branches.
The meeting emphasized the role of women in politics and social solidarity.
Savaşan, who is of Paphos origin, was born in Nicosia in 1977. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees at Near East University. He conducted academic studies as an associate professor, organized more than 100 congresses and received awards. Having worked as a manager for 20 years, Savaşan served as the President of the World Health Tourism Council in 2023-24. Savaşan, who was elected as UBP Nicosia MP in 2022 and is currently UBP Group Deputy Chairman, contributed to nearly 100 legislative studies. Savaşan is married and has one child.
