UBP Deputy Group Deputy Chairman Ahmet Savaşan attended the 2nd Meeting of TURKPA Heads of Health Commissions held in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, regional cooperation opportunities were evaluated within the framework of the theme “Climate Change and Health”.
Savaşan, who is of Paphos origin, was born in Nicosia in 1977. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees at Near East University. He conducted academic studies as an associate professor, organized more than 100 congresses and received awards. Having worked as a manager for 20 years, Savaşan served as the President of the World Health Tourism Council in 2023-24. Savaşan, who was elected as UBP Nicosia MP in 2022 and is currently UBP Group Deputy Chairman, contributed to nearly 100 legislative studies. Savaşan is married and has one child.
