Ali Sabancı gave an award to Dorana Tourism, which ranked among the top 10 companies carrying the most passengers to Northern Cyprus
Ali İ. Sabancı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş., presented an award of appreciation to Dorana Turizm for being among the top 10 agencies carrying the most passengers to Northern Cyprus.
According to the press release issued by Near East University, the top 10 agencies carrying the most passengers to Northern Cyprus in 2011 were awarded at a ceremony held at Pegasus Airlines Cyprus Representative Office.
The ceremony was attended by Ali İ. Sabancı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı A.Ş., General Manager Sertaç Haybat, Pegasus Cyprus Representative Zeki Ziya, General Manager of Near East University Tourism Enterprises Ahmet Savaşan and agency officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sabancı said that Pegasus Airlines carries one out of two people coming to Northern Cyprus, and that the agencies have a great share in this success.
Receiving the appreciation award from Sabancı on behalf of Dorana Tourism, a subsidiary of Near East Tourism Enterprises, Ahmet Savaşan, General Manager of NEU Tourism Enterprises, said in his speech that teamwork is essential for success. Stating that he received this award on behalf of his colleagues, Savaşan congratulated Sabancı and his team for their contribution to the country's tourism and the positive change they brought to aviation with their entrepreneurship.
