Ahmet Savaşan's message is as follows:
We celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day, one of the greatest symbols of our nation's struggle for independence and freedom, with pride and enthusiasm.
We commemorate all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland, especially Commander-in-Chief Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, with mercy and our heroic veterans with gratitude.
As the Turkish Cypriot people, we will continue to keep our will for independence and freedom alive with the same ideals and beliefs with the Motherland Republic of Turkey.
