The Health Tourism Council presented Self Check, a professional mobile monitoring system that enables women to perform breast checks with the right methods, to the Cancer Patients' Aid Association.

Self Check, which was developed by Map2heal and offers a professional tracking system and at the same time reminds the user of the most optimal examination times, was launched today at Merit Nicosia Hotel by Health Tourism Council President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, Cancer Patients Aid Association President Raziye Kocaismail, Association of Independent Physicians President Dr. Remzi Gardiyanoğlu, Private Hospitals Association President Dr. Hayat İzel as well as Map2heal founder and CEO Prof. Dr. Tayfun Aybek and Turkish Health Tourism Council Secretary General Yunus Gürkan. Fighting System Offers Early Detection of Breast Cancer

In his speech, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan highlighted the importance of raising awareness of early diagnosis in the fight against cancer and emphasized the importance of the awareness of the society, healthcare professionals and policy makers for early diagnosis. Stating that the mobile tracking system is the product of eight months of work, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan emphasized that the system offers the opportunity to detect breast cancer early.  

Enabling Doctor's Referral without Delay 

Stating that women will be able to perform breast checks regularly and with the right methods at home by installing the online application on their mobile phones or tablets, Savaşan said that thanks to the system, women will be able to consult their doctors without delay in a suspicious situation. 

Examination Findings will be Automatically Transmitted to Specialist Doctors...

Stating that the mobile application introduced is the first step of the early diagnosis saves lives project, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan explained that in the following process, examination findings will be automatically transmitted to specialist doctors and even information will be transferred to devices that can analyze breast tissue via mobile phones. 

Kocaismail: The Council has been cooperating with the Association for a long time

Raziye Kocaismail, who said that the Council has been cooperating with the Cancer Patients' Aid Association for a long time in order to increase the level of awareness and consciousness about cancer, to get rid of common misconceptions, which is an important step in the fight against cancer, and to create awareness that the truth should reach everyone, said in her speech that the mobile application is a historical step taken in the TRNC regarding early diagnosis.

Kocaismail thanked the President of the Council Ahmet Savaşan for his sincere efforts and contributions to raise awareness of early detection of cancer in the country and stated that the online tracking system is a priceless gift that offers a vital opportunity to all women in our country for early detection of breast cancer. Kocaismail expressed her satisfaction with the free gift of the online tracking system to the Cancer Patients' Aid Association and added that women who apply to the association can benefit from the system free of charge.
