Pointing out that nearly half of the TRNC's total foreign exchange revenues are obtained from tourism and that the sum of tourism revenues (700 million USD) and revenues obtained within the scope of educational tourism (700 million USD) last year was 1.4 billion USD, Savaşan emphasized that this figure meets the TRNC's foreign trade deficit. Stating that 2018 will be a good year thanks to the ongoing successful projects of the Ministry of Tourism, Turkey's important contributions and the tourism products diversified with the efforts of the sector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan said.
