UBP Group Deputy Chairman and Nicosia District Chairman Ahmet Savaşan said that the Republic of Turkey has started to be seen as ‘the orphan of the orphans’ in the world.
National Unity Party (UBP) Group Deputy Chairman and Nicosia District Chairman Ahmet Savaşan, in his message published on the occasion of October 29th Republic Day, said: “In today's rapidly transforming world, it is obvious that the importance of our Turkey under the presidency of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is increasing day by day and has become not only a regional but also a global power. It is an indisputable fact that our Turkey will become a much stronger and more prosperous country.”.
Stating that the Republic is the will of the nation; the spirit of unity and solidarity of the nation without discriminating religion, language, race and sect, the love of homeland, a great example of determination and determination, Savaşan said, “October 29th is the guarantee that not only Turkey but also the TRNC will live free and independent.”.
Savaşan pointed out that the events in the countries of the region, especially in Palestine, have increased the commitment of the Turkish Cypriots, who are an integral part of the Turkish Nation, to all the historical achievements of the Great Turkish Nation and the Republic and to the principles and reforms of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founding leader of the Republic.
Ahmet Savaşan said, “With its growing economy, strengthening democracy, growing reputation, expanding sphere of influence, principled and visionary foreign policy, our Republic, which was born as ‘nobody for the orphans’ in the words of Atatürk himself, has now started to be seen as ‘nobody for the orphans’ all over the world.”.
