He is also the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Ahmet Savaşan, announced that he is a candidate candidate from the National Unity Party (UBP) with a post on his social media account.
Stating that he applied for candidacy from the UBP in order to contribute directly to the social struggle for the TRNC in his sharing, Savaşan said, “I request approval and authorization to carry the struggle I have carried out so far with all my other case friends to a higher level”.
Savaşan's post is as follows:
“Dear Turkish Cypriot People,
In order to directly contribute to the social struggle for a more developed and sustainable Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, I have reiterated my desire to stand before you as a parliamentary candidate from the National Unity Party and I have applied for parliamentary candidacy.
I sincerely believe and trust that my UBP elders and brothers and sisters will put me in front of you as a candidate.
I request approval and authorization to carry the struggle I have carried out so far to a higher level together with all my other colleagues who set out on this honorable path in order to root our state and make our people live happier.”
