The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic continues to discuss the Municipalities Amendment Bill. Officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Union of Chambers of Chambers of Engineers and Architects, the Turkish Cypriot Farmers' Union, the Turkish Cypriot Veterinary Doctors' Association, the Union of Mukhtars of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the Chamber of Environmental Engineers, Akçay Mukhtarlığı and BES attended the committee meeting as invitees and made opinions and suggestions on the subject.
The Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee will today hold a meeting with UBP MP Committee Chairman Özdemir Berova under the chairmanship of the President. The Committee had decided to discuss the Municipalities (Amendment) Bill and the Municipalities Amendment Bill together. At today's meeting, the Committee continued to discuss the articles of the relevant Draft Laws.

The committee meeting was also attended by CTP MP Erkut Şahali and HP MP Jale Refik Rogers also participated.

Osman Korahan, President of the Court of Accounts, was also present at the Committee meeting. The Committee will continue its work on the Draft Law at its next meeting.
