Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which is the first and only private Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, continues to make a name for itself in our country and in the world with the recently organized International Symposium on Fertility and Udder Health in Farm Animals.
According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, more than five hundred people attended the International Symposium on “Fertility and Udder Health in Farm Animals” hosted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Near East University and organized by Near East Tourism Enterprises.

The opening speech of the International Symposium held at Merit Park Hotel was made by Prof. Dr. Selim Aslan, Faculty Member of Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Prof. Dr. Ömer Memduh Esendal, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Near East University, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ gave a speech and gave information about the development of the faculty and the university.

Savaşan: “Our Target is 15,000 Congress Tourists in 2018...’
Underlining that NEU has increased its congress tourism activities every year, Ahmet Savaşan, General Manager of Tourism Enterprises and Hospital Board Member, said that their aim is to contribute to science.
Dünya Turizm Örgütü’nün (WTO) verilerine göre 2020 yılına gelindiğinde uluslararası turizm gelirlerinin 2 trilyon ABD dolarına ulaşmasının beklendiğine vurgu yapan Savaşan, bu gelir içerisinde kongre ve fuar amaçlı yapılan seyahatlerin dünya turizm gelirinin %30’unu oluşturacağını belirtti.
Stating that they aim to attract 15,000 congress tourists to the congresses they will bring to life in 2018, Savaşan said that they are working non-stop to contribute to science on the one hand and to the country's economy through congress tourism on the other.
