OZDENEFE: WOMEN START LIFE BEHIND DUE TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES AT HOME

Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Fazilet Özdenefe He stated that he attaches importance to women's solidarity and said that society cannot realize its potential unless gender equality is achieved.

Stating that women start life behind due to their responsibilities at home, Özdenefe said that inequality lies at the root of violence in all areas of society.

Özdenefe emphasized the importance of women's equal participation in all areas of life and drew attention to the need to solve the problems faced by women.

BESIM WOMEN SHOULD ALSO BE IN MANAGERIAL AND DECISION-MAKING POSITIONS

Republican Turkish Party MP Filiz Besim She also stated that March 8 is not a day of celebration, but a special day when they will fight for a space where a woman's perspective can be established in every field.

Stating that there are 95 percent female employees in the Parliament, Besim stated that women should also take part in administrative and decision-making positions. Emphasizing that there is a very strong female workforce in the TRNC, Besim stated that they will continue their struggle.
