President of the World Health Tourism Council, TRNC Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan stated that we fulfilled the conditions and entered the council despite Greece's no vote before Southern Cyprus and now they will hold a forum as the term president.
Emphasizing that this council is not a political platform, Savaşan noted that Turkey has also made diplomacy to disrupt the game in this direction.
Speaking at the TV program he attended, Ahmet Savaşan, Chairman of the World Health Tourism Council, said;
“We thought about how to reconcile education management with health tourism... When I was the President of the World Health Tourism Council in 2015, the General Secretariat was in Greece. TRNC became a member of the council when Greece was the Secretary General. Turkey was very supportive in this regard. Greece was very upset about this and wrote many letters, but Turkey said that this is not a political arena, there are conditions, there is a vote. We fulfilled the conditions and Greece voted no before Southern Cyprus in the Tourism Council.
