According to the statement made by the Municipality, the event, which started at 10:00 at the Grand Bazaar, will continue until 24:00.
In his speech at the event, Güzelyurt Mayor Mahmut Özçınar drew attention to the blood need of thallassemia patients in our country and emphasized the importance of supporting the blood bank stocks.
Özçınar called on citizens to donate blood not only during campaigns but always and thanked everyone who contributed to the event.
NEU Hospital Board Member Ahmet Savaşan He also stated that they organize blood donation campaigns and their aim is to meet the needs of patients who are in constant need of blood.
Savaşan emphasized the importance of developing regular blood donation awareness in our country and reminded that blood can be given at the stand set up in the Festival Park during the Güzelyurt Orange Festival.
