Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee convened. The Committee discussed the “Teachers (Amendment) Bill”, “Teachers (Amendment) Bill” and “Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Bill”.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today at 10.00 am.
According to the information provided by the Parliament, the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee discussed the “Teachers (Amendment) Bill”, “Teachers (Amendment) Bill” and “Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee first unanimously approved the “Teachers (Amendment) Draft Law” and the “Teachers (Amendment) Bill”, which were on its agenda, and referred them to the agenda of the General Assembly.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee then took up the “Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law” and completed its item-by-item discussion. The Committee will hold the third reading of the Draft Law at its next meeting since it does not have any urgency.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee meeting, which convened under the chairmanship of UBP MP Emrah Yeşilırmak, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Filiz Besim, Committee members; CTP MP Devrim Barçın, UBP MP Ziya Öztürkler, UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan, as well as CTP MP Erkut Şahali and CTP MP Salahi Şahiner.
Officials from the Ministry of Health, the Department of Personnel, the Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions, the Turkish Cypriot Physicians Union (TIP-İŞ), the Turkish Cypriot Civil Servants Union (KTAMS), the Turkish Cypriot Public Servants Union (KAMU-SEN) and the Turkish Cypriot Nurses and Midwives Union attended the committee meeting and presented their views on the issue.
