President of Health Tourism Council Ahmet Savaşan, In his message published on the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4, he drew attention to the importance of getting rid of common misconceptions about cancer.
Mr. Savaşan emphasized that February 4th is an important opportunity to raise awareness and consciousness about cancer, to get rid of common misconceptions, which is an important step in the fight against cancer, and to create the perception that the truth should reach everyone, and emphasized that a significant part of cancer is preventable.

Stating that cancer affects everyone in different ways, Savaşan said that in order to reduce the impact of the disease on individuals, families and society, the state, civil society, international organizations, universities, patients and their relatives have important duties. Emphasizing the importance of developing early diagnosis awareness in the fight against cancer, Savaşan emphasized that the awareness of society, healthcare professionals and policy makers is important for early diagnosis.
