Motherhood is a symbol of love, compassion, struggle, suffering, patience and self-sacrifice
In his speech during the visit, Savaşan said, “Our mothers, who brought us to the world, raised, educated, trained and taught us by braving all difficulties, who are the most valuable and most sacred assets of our lives, our crown jewels; has always been the symbol of love, compassion, struggle, ordeal, patience and self-sacrifice. Motherhood is the most beautiful, purest, most innocent and most sacred feeling in the world, the value of which cannot be measured or replaced by anything. We cannot be happy enough for our mothers who are instrumental in our coming to the world and finding life.”.
We must always be there for them, not just when they need us
Stating that the mother's duty does not end when she brings the child to the world Ahmet Savaşan “It takes on a different and more meaningful dimension. The child, who is involved in social life from the moment he or she is born, has to be psychologically nourished with love and care. The only expectation of our mothers, whom we take refuge in our happiest moments as well as in all the difficulties we cannot cope with, whom we are sure to find by our side, is to make them feel the love and care they show us. It is our greatest responsibility to make our mothers” lives easier, to be there for them not only when they need us but always, to love them and to adopt a way of life that will show them that their efforts are not in vain. The love, devotion and tolerance we learn from our mothers are common values that we must accept throughout our lives and teach to future generations.".
Heaven is under the feet of mothers
Expressing his happiness to be together with the mother patients who are in Northern Cyprus as tourists to receive health services on the occasion of such a meaningful day, Savaşan said, “Heaven is under the feet of mothers” and wished you to be healed and return to your country and your loved ones as soon as possible.”
