[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]20 Kasım Dünya Çocuk Hakları Günü nedeniyle mesaj yayımlayan Kıbrıs Sağlık Turizmi Konseyi Başkanı Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, cinsiyet, din, dil, ırk ve sosyal statüye bakılmaksızın çocukların güvenli ve sağlıklı koşullarda barınması başta olmak üzere, yaşam, sağlık, korunma, eğitim ve sevgi hakkına sahip olmaları gerektiğini vurgulayarak, bu hakları sunmanın sosyal devletin gereği olduğuna dikkat çekti.

Children are the common hope of humanity.
Underlining that children are the common hope, the future and the most important treasure of humanity and that children's rights are guaranteed by a universal declaration approved by the most countries in the world, Ahmet Savaşan underlined that children are most affected and harmed by today's wars, income inequality, poverty and epidemics.

Awareness raising is essential to prevent abuse and neglect...
Ahmet Savaşan stated that there are no criminal children, there are children who are dragged into crime as a result of neglect and abuse, and that there is a need to increase efforts to raise awareness on the prevention of neglect and abuse against children in our country.

Preventive work must be done on neglect and abuse...
Underlining the need for preventive work on neglect and abuse in our country, Ahmet Savaşan pointed out that physical and/or sexual abuse comes to mind when we think of neglect and abuse, and that emotional and educational neglect creates a sense of loneliness and vulnerability in children, which can lead to learning difficulties, behavioral problems, failure in communication with peers and the environment, and health problems that can lead to death.

Awareness of emotional neglect is important
Ahmet Savaşan stated that showing insufficient attention and affection to the child, witnessing domestic abuse and violence, allowing the child to use alcohol and/or drugs are emotional neglect and emphasized the importance of the awareness of families and teachers on this issue.

Efforts should be made to raise children with hope for the future...
Referring to the fact that while children play with joy in one part of the world, in another part of the world children are writhing in the grip of war, hunger and poverty, Savaşan emphasized that nations that strive to raise children who have no health and housing problems, especially education, who are protected from all kinds of abuse, who produce, have high self-confidence, think, decide, communicate positively with their environment, develop themselves and look to the future with hope, can continue their development and look to the future with confidence. At the end of his message, Ahmet Savaşan said “I kiss the eyes of all children and wish them to live a life full of love, peace and peace” and congratulated the World Children's Rights Day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
