According to the information given by the Assembly of the Republic, Major General Zorlu Topaloğlu, speaking at the reception at the Assembly Hall of Honor, noted that August 1 is a very important and exceptional day for the Turkish Cypriot history.
Touching on the importance of the conquest of Cyprus in his speech, Topaloğlu said that martyrs were given to protect the Turkish presence on the island before and after the establishment of the Turkish Resistance Organization.
Reminding that the TMT was replaced by the Security Forces Command after the July 20 Happy Peace Operation, Topaloğlu emphasized that the Security Forces have continued to ensure peace and security in the entire region from Derinya to Karpaz, from Karpaz to Erenköy and throughout the entire country since then.
Topaloğlu pointed out that the Security Forces Command is ready to pay all prices for the people to continue their freedom.
THE TRIBUNAL THE CASE IS NOT OVER

Describing the struggle from the conquest of the island by the Turks until today, Töre said that the case is not over at the point reached today.
Reminding that the ENOSIS ideals of the Greeks continue, Töre expressed their desire to further strengthen the Security Forces Command and its affiliated institutions.
Töre reminded the TMT oath, noting that the statements in the oath are the belief values of the Turkish Cypriots, and said that the moon-starred flags raised to the skies will fly forever.
Emphasizing that they have always done and will continue to do their duty to ensure that the generations after them celebrate August 1 in peace and security, Töre said: “Long live July 20, August 1 and November 15”.
Reminding the statement of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk that “Republic is virtue”, Töre stated that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is the greatest virtue for them.
