Young leaders from the ruling parties of Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus prepared an 8-point declaration in line with the vision of “1 Nation 3 States”, emphasizing common language and culture.
Young leaders from the ruling parties of Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus came together at the “Young Power of the Turkic World” themed workshop organized in Nicosia in line with the vision of “1 Nation 3 States”. UBP Group Deputy Chairman and general coordinator of the workshop Assoc. Ahmet Savaşan, shared the final declaration of the workshop with the public.
The workshop aimed at shaping youth policies with a common future perspective; TRNC President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Prime Minister Unal Üstel, UBP Secretary General Oguzhan Hasipoglu, UBP Group Deputy Chairman Ahmet Savaşan, The program started with the opening speeches of Mahmut Hüdaverdi, UBP Youth Wings FMK Member Mahmut Hüdaverdi, AK Party MP Zehranur Aydemir, AK Party Youth Wings Chairman Yusuf İbiş and New Azerbaijan Party Youth Wings Chairman Bəxtiyar İslamov. The program continued with the screening of the documentary “Those Who Lead the Struggle” about the Turkish nation's struggle for independence.

A Common Mind was Generated on Eight Thematic Topics...
The most striking part of the workshop was the table meetings moderated by ten academics who are experts in their fields. In the sessions held under eight thematic headings with the participation of UBP's 6 District Youth Branch Chairpersons, Ak Parti Youth Branch Chairperson, Yeni Azerbaijan Party Youth Branch Chairperson and youth branch representatives of three parties, strategic suggestions were developed in areas such as common language, culture, digitalization, entrepreneurship and education.
Common Objectives Agreed at the Workshop;
1. From Common History to Common Future:
Digital documentaries and joint history books will be prepared to strengthen the awareness of common history among young people.
2. Youth and Political Participation:
A communication network will be established between the youth organizations of the three countries and leadership academies will be launched.
3. Common Culture and Language:
Identity building will be supported through a common Turkic alphabet and cultural activities.
4. Economic Solidarity and Entrepreneurship:
Joint digital platforms will be developed and technopark collaborations will be encouraged.
5. Digital Turkic World:
Social media collaborations will be established; projects will be developed in the fields of digital literacy, content production and strategic communication.
6. Training and Academic Cooperation:
Joint scholarship programs, student exchange projects and joint research activities will be encouraged.
7. Turkic World Youth Network:
A permanent youth network will be created; regular youth summits and digital interaction platforms will be planned.
8. Sports, Arts and Volunteering:
Organizations and media projects will be carried out to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the youth of the three countries.

Announcing the final declaration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, He stated that the workshop was a big step for the common future of the Turkic world and emphasized that the youth think and produce not only for their own country but also for the whole Turkic world.
Emphasis on Institutional Continuity and Common Vision...
Stating that the decisions taken at the workshop will not be limited to short-term projects, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, emphasized that these decisions will be supported by permanent structures. Savaşan stated that the youth organizations of the ruling parties in Turkey, Azerbaijan and TRNC are determined to make the common vision created in line with the understanding of “1 Nation 3 States” sustainable.
