UBP Central Executive Board member Savaşan evaluated what has happened in the government in recent days and said “the flavor of the work has escaped”.

National Unity Party (UBP) Central Executive Board member who evaluated the agenda in a television program he attended Ahmet Savaşan, gave a different answer to the question “is there a crisis within the government?” and used the expression “the flavor of the work has escaped”.

“WHAT IS HAPPENING IS NEITHER IN LINE WITH POLITICAL ETHICS NOR WITH PRECEDENT!”

While it is wondered whether there is a crisis in the government after the discussions that started with the zoning plan, National Unity Party FMK member Dr. Ahmet Savaşan’s approach to the issue was different.

Stating that he does not like to use the term crisis, but what happened in front of the public on the zoning plan, which was not accepted by the people of the region and did not receive the approval of the National Unity Party in its current form, did not comply with both political ethics and templates, Savaşan said, “What started with the zoning plan and what happened in front of the public on the issue of the order has missed the flavor of the partnership.”.

“UBP IS IN FAVOR OF A ZONING PLAN THAT WILL BENEFIT THE PEOPLE...”

Emphasizing that the UBP wants to bring sustainable development plans to the country Ahmet Savaşan, noted the following:

“We believe that the country should have zoning plans that will be widely accepted by the public, local authorities and other relevant stakeholders. It is of course unthinkable for the country to be governed by decrees. There is a zoning plan on the agenda, which was initiated during the 4-party government and brought to the stage of completion under the UBP-HP government. It is obvious that the Ministry of Interior, as well as many segments and people, have made serious efforts for this zoning plan. But there is another fact. This plan has not received broad approval from the people of the region, stakeholders and the UBP. A committee of architects and engineers under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of our party is working on the issue and is in contact with stakeholders. This committee will present its suggestions for changes to the current draft to our partner next week.’

“WE ARE EVALUATING HOW WE WILL ACT IN THE COMING PERIOD...”

UBP President and Prime Minister on the extension of the existing order order for one month in order to eliminate the disputes regarding the zoning plan and to come up with a sustainable and widely accepted plan for the benefit of the people Ersin Tatar and Deputy Prime Minister Kudret Ozersay’and that the agreement was reached Ahmet Savaşan, said the following on the subject:

“The Ministry of Interior issued an undated, open-ended decree as if this agreement did not exist. The Prime Minister withdrew this order on the grounds that it was contrary to what was understood and that it was legally inconvenient. After this, the Minister of Interior made public statements in an unbecoming manner, as if giving a law lesson to the Prime Minister of this country. It is never possible for the UBP base to accept this. In this regard, a great discomfort has arisen both in the UBP base and within the government. Therefore, after these events, the UBP is making its own evaluations on how to act in the upcoming processes with a great sense of responsibility by prioritizing the interests of the country.”
