The second week program of the National Unity Party Politics Academy was completed with lectures given by Prof. Dr. Ata Atun, Ergün Olgun, Osman Ertuğ and Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal.

The second week program of the National Unity Party Politics Academy was held at the Near East University (NEU) Grand Library under the moderation of Academy Coordinator, UBP Deputy Group Chairman Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, with the participation of UBP youth, women and members, as well as UBP President, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Ministers, MPs, MPs, District Mayors and Mayors.

The second week lectures of the Political Academy, which was established with the initiative of UBP President and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel with the aim of ensuring that especially young people and women who will take part in politics undergo a good education, are well-equipped and have a vision, were given by Prof. Dr. Ata Atun, who served as a Political Advisor at the Presidency and was a Negotiator on behalf of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Ata Atun on “The Origin of the Cyprus Question”, former Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Presidency and former Negotiator Ergün Olgun on “The Negotiation Process”, retired Diplomat and former Spokesperson of the President of the Republic, Osman Ertuğ on “The Process of the TRNC Declaration and its Political Consequences” and Special Advisor to the President on International Relations and Diplomacy, Member of the Negotiation Committee and Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Presidency Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal on “The Foundations of the Two-State Solution Model”.

The third week program of the Politics Academy will be held on 30 March, 2024 (Saturday) between 15:00-17:45 at NEU Grand Library with the lectures of Prof. Dr. Necdet Basa on the Legal and Political Consequences of the Closed Maraş Opening, Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdi Şafak's lectures on the Cyprus Issue in the Context of International Law, Mahmut Özçınar's UBP Municipalism from the Perspective of Local Governments and the Projects Contributed to the TRNC, Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakartal's lectures on the Turkish Cypriot Struggle for Existence with Visual Documents will continue.
