Cyprus Health Tourism Council President and National Unity Party (UBP) Nicosia MP Ahmet Savaşan, published a message on September 1, World Peace Day.
Savaşan used the following expressions in his message:
“Happy World Peace Day on September 1st to all humanity.
Even if human nature dictates that we live in peace, it is unfortunately a historical reality that the drive to dominate and live in privilege leads to brutal wars. Let alone states or international rivalry, unfortunately, the terrible rivalry between different political groups or ideas prevents us from living in peace even in our own country. We need to return to tolerance. We need to respect the rights of others. While we expect this from others, we need to be committed to these virtues in our own relations.”
