Great opportunity for veterinarians
Spring Days in Veterinary Dermatology Meeting will be hosted by Near East University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and organized by Near East Tourism Enterprises (Dorana Tourism) on 24-27 April 2014 at Kaya Artemis Hotel.
In the congress where expert speakers from Germany, Hungary and Turkey will participate, topics such as cytology in diagnosis, the use of corticosteroids in treatment, the sine qua non of antibacterial use in dermatology, the effectiveness of nutrition in the treatment of atopy, psychogenic dermatoses and dermatological problems in exotic animals will be discussed with an up-to-date perspective.
PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS WILL ALSO BE MADE AT THE MEETING
In the statement, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Prof. Dr. Nilüfer Aytuğ stated that the aim of the meeting is to update the information on veterinary dermatology in a scientific sense, and emphasized that the most up-to-date information will be used practically with the clinical studies to be conducted at the meeting.
Aytuğ said that the meeting, which will be held on an international scale and will be discussed in all aspects of veterinary dermatology, is also a great opportunity for clinician veterinarians living in Northern Cyprus, “we will be very happy to see our colleagues at our meeting”.
SAVAŞAN; “ANNOUNCED THAT CONGRESS AND HEALTH TOURISM ACTIVITIES WILL BE INCREASED”
In the same statement, General Manager of Tourism Enterprises and Hospital Board Member Ahmet Savaşan reminded that NEU's hosting of many congresses that made an impact in the world, together with NEU Founding Rector Dr. Suat İ. Günsel's bringing the first fully equipped congress center to the country in the 90s, played an important role in the development of Congress Tourism in the TRNC.
Stating that they act with the awareness that alternative and sustainable tourism types have positive reflections on the added value of the country, Savaşan gave the good news that NEU Tourism Enterprises will further increase its Congress and Health Tourism activities starting from this year.
Finally, Savaşan reiterated that the purpose of NEU's establishment of the TRNC's first and only Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is not only to train students in European norms, but also to ensure that veterinarians can easily access up-to-date information and methods through such international and national events.
