The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee approved the “Draft Law on Granting the Right to Continue their Education to those who have been dismissed from higher education institutions operating under the TRNC Higher Education Law (Temporary Rules) (Amendment)” and referred it to the General Assembly.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic approved the “Draft Law on Granting the Right to Continue their Education to those who have been dismissed from higher education institutions operating under the TRNC Higher Education Law (Temporary Rules) (Amendment)” and referred it to the General Assembly. The general discussion of the “Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association (Amendment) Bill” was completed in the committee.

According to the statement made by the Assembly of the Republic, the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee will be held today with the Chairman of the Committee, UBP MP Özdemir Berova chaired by the President.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Filiz Besim, Committee members, UBP Deputy Members Ahmet Savaşan, CTP MP Devrim Barçın and UBP MP Emrah Yesilirmak attended. Also at the committee meeting, HP MP Jale Refik Rogers also took part.

The Committee unanimously approved the “Draft Law on Granting the Right to Continue their Education to those who have been dismissed from the Higher Education Institutions operating under the Higher Education Law of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus No. 65/2005 (Temporary Rules) (Amendment)” and referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly.

Officials from the Ministry of National Education and the Presidency of Higher Education, Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Board attended the committee meeting as invited guests and shared their views on the issue.

GENERAL DISCUSSION OF THE CYPRUS TURKISH PHARMACISTS UNION (AMENDMENT) DRAFT LAW COMPLETED

The Committee then completed the general discussion of the “Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association (Amendment) Draft Law”. The Committee will continue its work on the draft law at its next meeting.
