President Ersin Tatar, received the delegation of the World Health Tourism Council. Representative delegation of the council of 56 countries was hosted by the President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, UBP Nicosia Deputy Ahmet Savaşan presided over it. 

President Ersin Tatar, Following the reception in the Presidential Hall of Honor, Tatar presented a certificate of appreciation to the delegation, which included representatives of countries such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Saudi Arabia, India, Morocco, Dubai and Romania. Tatar also presented the guests with a book on his work during his presidency.

 

Addressing the members of the delegation introduced to him in Turkish and English, President Tatar explained the two-state vision on Cyprus and pointed out the importance of health and tourism. Explaining the investments made by the TRNC in this direction and the importance they carry, Tatar congratulated Savaşan for hosting the World Health Tourism Council. 

Tatar pointed out that the TRNC, the island of tourism, also attaches great importance to health and noted that the TRNC has the best hotels and health investments in its region. Tatar stated that there are many students and investors in the TRNC, even from developed countries, who receive health services in the TRNC. 

 

Stating that Cyprus is the most important island of the Eastern Mediterranean and the center of the world, Tatar said that the TRNC should be the first thing that comes to mind in terms of health tourism in the region and that they are working in that direction. 

Stating that Cyprus can cooperate in areas such as health and tourism without politics, Tatar stated that such cooperation will be positive for both communities. 

Emphasizing that the potential will increase with global integration, Tatar said that they attach greater importance to health after the pandemic. 

 

Tatar stated that tourism and health are an important service area together and said that the President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, who keeps this issue on the agenda and contributes to the country Ahmet Savaşan also congratulated him. 

Ahmet Savaşan Savaşan also took the floor at the reception and explained the TRNC's membership process to the World Health Tourism Council and noted that the TRNC has taken over the flag in the council, which includes 56 countries. Stating that they are carrying out studies that will shape health tourism in the world, Savaşan expressed his belief that they will increase the international visibility of the TRNC. 

Stating that they determined the road map for the coming year at the meetings, Savaşan thanked the council members who came to the TRNC from 12 geographies of the world and did not leave them alone, and said that he believes that the members in the TRNC will also accelerate the promotion of the country.
