The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened and discussed the “Draft Law on the Cadres and Foreign Duty Allowances of Personnel Working Abroad (Amendment)” and the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill”.

According to the information given by the Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, the committee convened today at 10.00 am under the chairmanship of UBP MP Committee Chairman Emrah Yeşilırmak.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee discussed the “Draft Law on the Cadres and Foreign Duty Allowances of Personnel Working Abroad (Amendment)” and the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee first discussed and unanimously approved the “Staff Positions of Personnel Working Abroad and Foreign Mission Allowances (Amendment) Bill” and referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly. The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee then discussed the “Housing Acquisition (Amendment) Bill” and completed its general discussion and started to discuss it item by item. The Committee will continue its work on the said Bill at its next meeting.

Officials from the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Planning and Construction Department, the Housing Development Unit, the Central Bank, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities, the Union of Cyprus Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects attended the committee meeting as invitees and presented their views on the issue to the committee.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee meeting, chaired by UBP MP Emrah Yeşilırmak, was attended by Committee Member CTP MP Devrim Barçın and Committee Member UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan.
