Parliamentary Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee Discussed 4 Drafts or Proposals

The Parliamentary Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee discussed the “Public Servants (Amendment) Bill”, “Public Health Workers (Amendment) Bill”, “Regulation of Monthly (Salary-Wage) and Other Allowances of Public Employees (Amendment) Bill” and “Proposal for a (Special) (Amendment) Law on the Unification of Municipalities”.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic unanimously approved four bills or proposals at its meeting today.

According to the statement made by the Parliament, the committee convened at 10.00 am under the chairmanship of UBP MP Committee Chairman Emrah Yeşilırmak.

The Committee discussed the “Public Servants (Amendment) Bill”, “Public Health Workers (Amendment) Bill”, “Regulation of Monthly (Salary-Wage) and Other Allowances of Public Employees (Amendment) Bill” and “Proposal for a (Special) (Amendment) Law on the Unification of Municipalities”.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee first discussed the “Public Servants (Amendment) Bill”, the “Public Health Workers (Amendment) Bill”, and the “Regulation of Salaries (Salary-Wages) and Other Allowances of Public Employees (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda and unanimously approved the said bills and referred them to the agenda of the General Assembly.

Officials from the Ministry of Finance, Personnel Department, Security Forces Command, KTAMS, KAMU-SEN and KAMU-İŞ attended the committee meeting as invited guests and presented their views on the issue.

The Committee then discussed and unanimously approved the “Proposal for a Law on the Unification of Municipalities (Special) (Amendment)” and referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly.

Officials from the Ministry of Interior, Personnel Department, Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities, Iskele Municipality, Mehmetçik- Büyükkonuk Municipality, Geçitkale-Serdarlı Municipality, Mesarya Municipality and DEV-İŞ, who attended the committee meeting as invitees, presented their views on the issue to the committee.

The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee meeting, which convened under the chairmanship of UBP MP Emrah Yeşilırmak, was attended by Deputy Committee Chairperson CTP MP Filiz Besim, Committee members UBP MPs Ahmet Savaşan, Fırtına Karanfil and committee member CTP MP Devrim Barçın. UBP MP Hasan Küçük also attended the committee meeting.
