Today, we are happy and proud to celebrate the 452nd anniversary of the conquest of Cyprus, the 65th anniversary of the Turkish Resistance Organization (TMT) and the 47th anniversary of the establishment of the Security Forces Command (GKK).

These three meaningful anniversaries, which are of great importance for the Turkish presence on our island, also guide us in understanding the history of the Turkish Cypriot people.

This precious anniversary, which shows the great importance of the island of Cyprus in terms of the continuation of the Turkish presence in Anatolia and its surroundings, as well as the importance of our heroic resistance and our armed forces, which are the product of this resistance, in our existence, is one of the days of shouting to the whole world that we, as Turkish Cypriots, are determined to maintain our determination and determination to continue our presence on the island forever.

The Turkish Cypriot people will continue to exist together with Turkey and will continue its struggle against injustice and oppression without bowing to any pressure.
