UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan and his accompanying delegation, who were in Iran for the 3rd Health Tourism Conference of the Economic Cooperation Organization, returned to Northern Cyprus after being stranded in Tehran for a short time due to Israeli air strikes. Savaşan thanked Turkey and TRNC authorities for their support.

 

National Unity Party (UBP) Deputy Dr. Dr. Dr. K. K. K., who is in Iran as an official invitee to attend the 3rd Health Tourism Conference of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), was invited to Iran. Ahmet Savaşan and the accompanying delegation returned to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus after being stranded in Tehran for a while due to Israeli airstrikes.

Dr. Savaşan, who made a post on his personal social media account after reaching the TRNC safely, expressed his satisfaction for returning to their country and thanked all the authorities who supported them in this process.

“We are happy to return to our homeland. Hallelujah!

Representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, we were in Iran with an official invitation to attend the 3rd Health Tourism Conference organized by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

We were stranded there during the Israeli bombardment. We were first transported to Turkey.

Then we came to our hometown, TRNC.

We sincerely thank the state authorities of the Republic of Turkey and the TRNC who have been with us from the first moment in this process.

Endless thanks to our families, relatives, friends, ministers, deputies and all our loved ones who supported us with their prayers, messages and phone calls”
