UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan stated that children are the common hope of humanity and said, “Nations that care about children can look to the future with confidence.”.

National Unity Party (UBP) MP Ahmet Savaşan, published a message on his personal social media account on the occasion of World Children's Day.

Savaşan said that every child has the right to benefit from health, education and all other opportunities and to experience all the beauties of life in a peaceful world.

Pointing out that children are the common hope, future and the most important treasure of humanity, Savaşan continued his statement on the subject as follows:

“Although children's rights are guaranteed by a universal declaration ratified by most countries in the world, it should be a source of great shame for us to watch that these rights have not been realized. Children are the most affected and harmed by wars, income inequality, poverty and epidemics.”

“While children in one part of the world play with joy, children in another part of the world are suffering from war, hunger and poverty,” Savaşan said.

The rest of Savaşan's statement is as follows:

“Nations that strive to raise children who have no health and housing problems, who are protected from all kinds of abuse, who are productive, who have high self-confidence, who think, who make decisions, who communicate positively with their environment, who develop themselves and who look to the future with hope, can continue their development and look to the future with confidence.

All countries need to mobilize so that all children, regardless of language, religion, race or color, can live in a peaceful world. We can only establish universal peace by allowing the love and hope to flourish in the hearts of children.

I underline the importance of the World Children's Day theme chosen this year, “Inclusion for Every Child”, and try to contribute to acting in accordance with this theme in our country.

I kiss the eyes of all our children and wish them a life full of love, peace and prosperity.”
