The Health Tourism Development Meeting, which started in Kyrenia, brought together the leaders of the health and tourism sectors of the two countries. Organized in cooperation with TÜRSAB, KITSAB and the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, the event discusses new strategies in health tourism and the potential of Northern Cyprus. The three-day program aims to deepen international cooperation through B2B meetings and facility visits.
Under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Health Tourism Development Meeting, organized to improve health tourism activities between Turkey and TRNC, started yesterday in Kyrenia. The event is being realized in cooperation with the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), Cyprus Turkish Tourism and Travel Agencies Association (KITSAB) and Cyprus Health Tourism Council.
PIONEERS OF HEALTH AND TOURISM AT THE SAME TABLE...
The opening of the meeting was attended by TURSAB member agencies with health tourism authorization certificates from Turkey and the presidents and representatives of the authorized institutions in the field of health and tourism in Northern Cyprus. TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu The first day meetings were chaired by the Minister of Health, Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek, Cyprus Health Tourism Council President and Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, TÜRSAB Board Member Elif Ural, International Health Services AŞ (USAŞ) General Manager Behlül Ünver, KITSAB President Orhan Tolun, President of the Association of Independent Physicians Dr. Remzi Gardiyanoğlu, President of the Association of Private Hospitals Dr. Hayat İzel, President of the Cyprus Association of Reproductive Medicine Dr. Savaş Özyiğit, Vice President of the Cyprus Turkish Hoteliers Association Fethi Özboğaç, President of the Cyprus Turkish Guides Association Dener Öymen and Nail Diken representing Turkish Airlines participated as speakers. New strategies to strengthen cooperation between countries were discussed at the meeting.
HEALTH AND TOURISM POTENTIAL OF NORTHERN CYPRUS WILL BE INTRODUCED...
On the second day of the meeting, health tourism products and services offered in Northern Cyprus as well as Turkey's activities in this field will be discussed in detail. In this context, presentations will be made on the health tourism activities of TÜRSAB, the role of USHAŞ in promoting Turkey's health tourism services and coordinating the activities, special discounts and advantages to be applied by THY to health tourists, the prominent touristic features of Northern Cyprus, services offered in the field of reproductive medicine in Northern Cyprus, innovations in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as medical tourism products of university hospitals. On the same day, B2B (cooperation) meetings will also be held between representatives of TURSAB agencies and KITSAB member agencies as well as hospitals and clinics.
Hospitals, Clinics and Facilities will be visited on the last day
On the last day of the three-day program, visits will be made to the physical therapy and rehabilitation center of Northern Cyprus where robotic services will be provided, the hotel affiliated to this center, university hospitals and private clinics.

These comprehensive meetings aim to deepen the health tourism cooperation between TRNC and Turkey and strengthen the position of Northern Cyprus in the international health tourism sector.
