The Ad Hoc and Special Committee of the Assembly of the Republic to Discuss the European Union Harmonization Draft Laws convened today.

According to the information given by the Parliament, the Ad Hoc and Special Committee formed to discuss the European Union Harmonization Draft Laws convened under the chairmanship of UBP MP Committee Chairman Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu and completed the general discussion of the “Chemicals Draft Law” on its agenda. Article-by-article discussion of the bill will begin at the next meeting.

Officials from the Deputy Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the Personnel Department, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the EU Coordination Center, the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Chemical Engineers, the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry and the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce attended the committee meeting as guests.

UBP MP Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Chairman of the Committee, CTP MP Şifa Çolakoğlu, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, UBP MPs Ziya Öztürkler, Ahmet Savaşan and CTP MP Fide Kürşat, and CTP MP Filiz Besim also attended the meeting of the Ad Hoc and Special Committee formed to discuss the European Union Harmonization Draft Laws.
