The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic discussed the “Draft Law on the Establishment of Atatürk Teachers Academy (Amendment)”, the “Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Draft Law” and the “Draft Law on Certification Officers”.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today at 10.00 am.
According to the press release issued by the Parliament Press Office, the Committee discussed the “Draft Law on the Establishment of Atatürk Teachers Academy (Amendment)”, the “Draft Law on the Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment)” and the “Draft Law on Certifying Officers”.
The Administrative, Public and Health Affairs Committee meeting, which convened under the chairmanship of UBP MP Emrah Yeşilırmak, was attended by Deputy Committee Chair Filiz Besim, Committee Member CTP MP Devrim Barçın, Committee Member UBP MP Ahmet Savaşan and Committee Member UBP MP Ziya Öztürkler.
The Committee first discussed the “Atatürk Teachers Academy Establishment (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda and held its second reading. The Committee will hold the third reading of the Draft Law at its next meeting since it does not have any urgency.
Officials from the Ministry of National Education, the Personnel Department, Atatürk Teachers Academy and KTÖS attended the Committee meeting as invitees and presented their views on the issue to the Committee.
The Committee then discussed the “Department of Inpatient Treatment Institutions (Establishment, Duties and Working Principles) (Amendment) Bill” on its agenda and completed its third reading and unanimously referred it to the agenda of the General Assembly.
Officials from the Ministry of Health attended the Committee meeting as invited guests and presented their views on the issue to the Committee.
The Committee finally completed the item-by-item discussion of the “Draft Law on Certification Officers” on its agenda. The Committee will continue its work on the said Bill at its next meeting.
Officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Cyprus Turkish Bar Association and the Cyprus Turkish Certifying Officers Association attended the committee meeting as invited guests and presented their views on the issue
